Housed at the Wolfson and Kendall Campuses, Tools for Success is a Miami Dade College and National Science Foundation (NSF) program that offers academic and financial support to students majoring in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) fields. The goal of Tools for Success is to prepare students academically so that they will successfully complete their AA degrees, transfer to four-year institutions and succeed in their STEM careers.

Students participating in this program will benefit from a full range of intensive and customized student services such as advisement, mentoring, transfer and career counseling, and special courses designed to help them succeed in STEM.

Tools For Success Summary
Tools for Success is a program designed to increase the number of STEM students completing degrees at MDC and transferring to four-year institutions.
Tools for Success brings together the faculty, administrators, and scientists from the community to nurture
underrepresented students who may otherwise not be able to succeed in STEM fields.
The program is innovative in that it
is not merely a scholarship program, but a program that aims to truly prepare students for success. The profile of students enrolled in TFS is an
